Even though my Hoosiers gave it a good run this year, they won't be getting another banner to hang this year. I'm not sure if I have posted this before, but found it again the other day...This state is basketball crazy for sure ! Thought it was interesting, and pretty impressive. :)

couple of side notes:

1) they passed the bill to allow high powered rifles this year in Indiana.

2) Why didn't my Kansas friends tell me they jacked the prices on turkeys this year?? LOL ( we are still coming out):D

Durned Texans keeping us from a full sweep ;)

Not another one like this, unfortunately:

But at least we get another year added to this one:

My Badgers have owned Indiana in the last 10 years!!!!! More good thinks to come also.

On a side note, my aunt's niece married Rick Mount back in the day (seriously). Now THAT boy was a baller (Purdue or no) ...

agree...Mount was lights out...a natural shooter. My favorite from Indiana, who played college ball at Indiana State about 40 miles south of here....Larry "The Legend" Bird...that guy could ball!!!!

just a question...ill leave it right here.....how many National Title Banners are hanging at Wisconsin????:D

Rut Junk:

Ouch --- that hurt! Badgers knocked my Az. Cats out of national tournament 2 years in a row (2nd time Wisc. was unconscious from deep!). Look out this next year --- Arizona's roster is SOLID!

UW Roster is solid next year also.

I believe we have 1 hanging so it is better than a goose egg.

UW is in the top 5 for most successful college sporting departments in the last 20 years. I believe we have the longest streak of sending a football team to a bowl game and a basketball team to the NCAA tourney. I think we are at 16 or 17 years.

It's a shame that the gym in Anderson is be left to fall n n itself. Some of those gyms will seat everyone or in some cases more than the whole town that buoy them.

Maxx, I agree Wisconsin produces year in year out. I'll be interested in seeing who stays at IU this upcoming year.

1PT, yes it is a shame about the Wig Wam...and you are right most would seat way more than the whole towns population they are in.

Washington's is very impressive when you consider the size of the town. I bet the filled it a lot during hom games during the Zeller era.
