Had a good day hiking in the Rockies. I came across two different sets of sheep while searching for deer or elk, but alas could only shoot photos of these guys. I snuck up within 20 yards of the first group and saw the second group at about 200 yds. Unbelievably, they let me walk up on them in plain view to within about 50 yds before trotting away. My camera batteries gave out though before I could get even better close ups. The one was a real stud with sweet tips all the way out. The day was capped off with my first buck. Nothing special but Im happy with him. Now I have a bar set for next year. :)

Nice buck Josh. He looks young enough that he will eat well. That big one my wife got last year tasted like a tarsal gland popsicle.:D
