Hello, everyone just joined. For the first time in years I am hunting for me and not guiding. Anyway I am headed to Idaho for two fun filled weeks at the end of September. Only problem I've never done more then drive through the state. Wondering how the elk herds are in the beaverhead and Lemhi units. Not looking for any honey holes or secret spots, just information on elk numbers.

If you are not hunting huge antlers, no place in Idaho has more elk than the Clearwater Country. If I can help you out on info and ideas in N central Idaho, feel free to ping me with your questions.36 years of hunting the Clearwater, 35 elk in the freezer.
