As I've been studying some of the Idaho units that I'm looking at hunting this year, I've read several people suggesting using an air taxi to go back in, like in unit 27 for example. Anyone have any experiences with this? Good or Bad? Also, any idea on what that would typically cost? Or if it's even worth it?

You can research it. Then call companies

Cascade, challis, McCall, Stanley, and I think salmon all have guys that’ll fly you in there. I can’t remember costs

I've flown into the Frank Church to help a buddy with his sheep hunt. We then rafted to the unit. Don't know the cost as I didn't pay. Crazy neat country and we had one heck of an adventure. IME there are way better places in ID to hunt for the more common species...

The cost changes based on which airstrip. I’ve paid from $350 to $600 for an entire plane.
