ID Panhandle Grizzly Bear Attacks Hunters

I don't think I saw this posted yet. Minimal injuries. Also, giving out hunting spots in the news release.

Bear attacks hunters in Upper Pack River area north of Sandpoint

Two archery hunters were attacked after what they described as a surprise encounter with a sow grizzly bear with cubs in the Apache Ridge area of the Upper Pack River drainage. One of the men was injured and has been released from the hospital with stitches.

Here we go! There was an encounter the first weekend of bow season here is SW Montana. Be careful out there.

Be safe all. I was out for a few days and saw a griz one ridge over. Nothing like tossing estrus elk scent, setting decoys and spotting a griz.

Encountered 2 big Grizzlies in the last two days in NW Wyoming. One at about 30 yards! Scary
