Id moose seasons

Talked myself out of applying in Wy. after some additional homework on it.Looks like my best odds are with a Id panhandle moose hunt.Since I'm a NR, I can up my odds by applying for their 2 week seasons in either Oct or Nov
What are the advantages of each season?This would be my 1st moose hunt so my knowledge is pretty slim.I know Oct season would be the rut,but the Nov season with possible tracking snow may be a great advantage
Getting tired of trying for the New England states moose permits with the crazy odds

I'd personally hit the first season with the rut. Some of that country in the panhandle can be difficult to access during the later hunt if we get big snow dumps. Also, calling in a Moose is flat awesome and addictive, and the rut is when that will happen.

Thanks,the Oct rut was what I was leaning toward.Hope it would be half as fun as calling in elk.At least I now have a plan for next year as far as moose go
