I think i got Lyme disease!!!

Got a huge rash on my shoulder from a bite, Area is warm and sore, knees and hips hurting a bit. Went to the doc and he gave me 21 days of antibiotics and took blood tests. Im my hunting area Lyme is really bad so they just give the meds and then worry about the tests after.
This is not the first time, i had it about 8 years ago as well. Nasty stuff.

I really feel sorry for you Schmalts....

My brother in law has been suffering from the stuff now for a matter of years, he didn't go into the doctor for about 3 years after he was infected, now he has cronic problems...

I sincerely hope you get better soon....

I worked with a guy who always talked about his wife who had terrible arthritis. She even had some knuckles replaced. this went on for years before they discovered it was Lyme. I will be fine, i got on it fast, if that is even what it is. Something bit me good, not sure what but ticks can go un-noticed for days. This rash is even bigger today and i am feeling whiped out.

bad deal there. i just read about the starting qb for florida was just permanantly put on the bench due to lyme.
