Husky mistaken for wolf

We had a guy shoot a black german shepherd and bring it into the check station. Dumbass biologist took its picture and claimed it was a coyote. It weighed 75lbs. As his supervisor, my eye twitched as I explained the difference to him and why it wasn't a good idea to put it on the bulletin board.

Sad to see everyone piling on the other posts, none of us were there, didn’t see the same views of the animal. We have all shot a deer / elk we thought was bigger / somehow different after it’s on the ground.

sorry but WE'VE NOT ALL done this. mistaking a dog for a wolf is not the same as mistaking an animal's size. with every rifle, pistol and shot come huge responsibility. not virtue signaling, just letting you know I don't think it's fair to lump anyone as we've all done this before. the logic doesn't fit.
