Hunting Widow

Curious what you all do for the significant woman in your life this time of year? Mine is about to be a hunting widow for the next three months so i try and shake it up a bit for her. Took my girl to the Pacific for a little clam 'diggin.
She should be good with me being gone, at least for a little while

There is nothing more WA than clam diggin' except it's supposed to be cold, rainy, windy, and doing it at night to complete the experience!

I may or may not be gone hunting when he gets back.

I somehow convinced the husband unit that basically everything takes a backseat to elk / grouse / pheasant / deer hunting from Sept - Nov. He knew what he was getting into when he married me.

Too bad so sad. She knew what she was getting into when she married me.

It was pre determined before we got married. She has held her end of it up very well, almost to the point where I feel guilty. Almost.

First time I've dug in shorts and sandals, not a pretty site I am sure but a real pleasant time.

Mine is there at times, usually later in the day but not near as much as she was 30 years ago

Very good friends of ours delivered their first baby just yesterday. This is going to be the easiest season yet, I bet I could take another week without her so much as batting an eyelash.
