Hunt Talker 2023 Fitness Goals

So I bailed and channeled my inner @TOGIE and hit chest hard. Will try again in the morning.

cam told me to tell you that nobody cares work harder!

But actually I feel ya. I got off work a little earlier yesterday and did a shorter trail run at a nearby reservoir. It was 99 degrees with a little extra humidity in the air. By the second half of the run I was seeing colors, light headed, and dropping into a granny pace. I haven’t felt like that in years. Heat sucks

The heat has been rough for cardio though. I'm a faucet in the gym when it's 74 in there. 80 degrees and I'm downright gross.

I'm going to try one of those aforementioned HIIT workouts. I can do that in the comfort of my well air conditioned home.

The heat is awful, especially for a kid day run when thats your only chance to go. But, also never mind that I ate like 2700 calories of Taco Bell like an hour before that run, it was definitely the heat

Reacting to this with the lol because I’ve been in this exact same place on a fully exposed oil and chip road.
Currently trying to decide if it’s safe to attempt a 10k or if I should wait a couple hours.

IM trying to keep up on the cardio esp hills Sept is coming fast but working in 95 degrees is taking its toll
Did just have check up blood work real good 5 11 and 184 lbs not bad for a 60 yr old fart

Us small guys are more fuel efficient. Look at @BackofBeyond over here eating 5k calories and 400 grams of protein a day.

Meanwhile I had half a ham sammich and a piece of toast today and am headed for the gym to bench 110% and leg press 280% of my body weight.

Now will one of you average sized gentlemen come over here and help me reach that jar of powder on the top shelf so I don't have to climb?
