I can’t remember when I found HuntTalk, but it was a great day and I’m glad I found it. I’d been a long time member on the Rok, and while I’m not going to knock that place, HuntTalk was a breath of fresh air. I’d always enjoyed Randy’s videos without knowing he had this great site. Everyone felt like a long lost friend who you could take up a hunt with, have a 2 mile elk pack out and end it with a solid hand shake and a smile. Guys here were still killing critters with wood stocks, non camo clothing, and still had a curve in the bill of their cap. You hear stories of folks having successful hunts and they never even spent a day at the CrossFit gym. There’s folks from the east who’ve never had the chance to hunt elk, moose, mulies, or lopes; yet they’re still treated as equal outdoorsman. Then there’s Randy…. If only all our leaders with a say in conservation and wildlife had as much intelligence, fairness, patience and common sense. This truly is a great place where I’ve met some many great people. I’m extremely thankful for it and all its members. Also, pre 64 model 70’s are the best hunting combination ever created
