Hows the winter in Co.and Wy.

How bad has the winter been in southern Wy.(Medicine Bow Forest)and Co. Gunnison Basin??I know the elk fair much better then the antelope and muleys.Do you expect any major winter kills for any of the animals in those areas?I know the muleys are still recovering in both those places from a few years back
Being buried under 2' of snow yesterday got me thinking about this.Usually, I watch the news to see whats going on out there, but haven't had time this year

It has been a pretty mild winter on the western and northern part of the state. Last time I was over there was beginning of January and there wasn't much snow then.

Haven't checked the snotel data, but SW WY/NE UT are quite a bit low on snow, IMO. Been a pretty mild winter. Here's to hoping for some spring rain...

Snow levels are about average in the southern part of the state, and below average in the central and northern portions.
