Howa question

Looking at the 1500 and the Alpine Hunter. Wondering about the price difference between the two. What features make the Alpine cost 700.00 more?

Primarily a bow hunter and I live in Ohio where high power rifles are not allowed for deer hunting. I will use this for elk and deer out west, one or two weeks a year. This will probably be my one and only gun. Thanks Ron

The Alpine Mountain Rifle is more than 2# lighter, comes with a custom Hi-tech stock designed by Mark Bansner, and it is fully Cerakoted.

I bought the 1500 in 06 last year and now I wish I would have bought the Alpine Mountain. At the end of the day 2 pounds feels more like 20.
