Does anyone have any experience with a Howa ceracoated model? I found one in a 7mm-08 and was looking into getting one

I've just handled them in the store. No real world experience with the Cerakote models. However I've shot my son's Howa and I love it. The Cerakote is fairly new but everything I've read seems to indicate that it is very durable stuff. My only concern is that I don't believe that the bore or inside of the action is coated. Perhaps Matt from LSI will see this and be able to tell us more.

I have one with the tan cerakote, no issues, it looks sharp and kills things...

That's what I was hoping, that the coatings would be durable

It seems to be very durable. It is not smooth like a blued barrel, so it gets 'scratch' marks on it, but they've all come off by giving it a rub with my finger.
