How would you plan and give guidance

best way to train for hunt is hike w/a pack, alot.......
and be prepared to go home empty handed, so if they do then they've already mentally prepared for it

A good attitude will solve a lot of woes/problems.

A bad attitude makes you wish you never left home.

Its just hunting, figure it out on the fly...be flexible.

How this hunt goes down is most likely not going to be how you planned it...almost never works that way.

IMO, hunting is about problem solving...control the variables you can, adapt to the ones you cant.

Don't forget to have some fun along the way.

Lots of advice being thrown around so all I can say is good luck and try to have fun!!!!! I've been in your shoes and it can be super difficult.

I will say this though. If their enthusiasm isn't high enough where you're having to drag them along with the planning, it's gonna be tough. If they truly want to go, they should be asking all sorts of questions.

"Yeah, I'll go." That's easy. Start the real planning after you see them click SUBMIT on the credit card payment for the tag. Nothing wrong with going solo. You may find you enjoy it more than going with someone you had to convince to go.
