In an average year, how many days would you say you spend hunting elk?
Don't include those trips after work where you drive up the mountain hope to run one over, I'm talking days where you spend more than an hour and actually get out an hike for a while...
When I lived in MT I used to spend about 6-7 days archery hunting and about 4-5 rifle hunting. Now that I've moved out of state, I get in about 6-12 in a given year chasing elk.
