How many Cold War Veterans are there on this site? How many already know about this organization?

A friend of mine sent me this link. I see a couple of ID vets have already signed their petition. I'm thinking about signing it myself.

I had originally posted this link in SI, but it doesn't fit the typical topic mold there.

dont know about cold war but it was hotter-n-hell in Desert Storm for me (Marine Corps 1987-1991)

I plan on signing the petition in support of the awarding of the medal. I have friends that served overseas during the cold war, and I believe that all who served in all the military branches during the cold war are deserving of recognition. I have seen the pain in the eyes of my friend when someone tells him "you're only a peacetime veteran." I support his cause here.
