Great film just came out from Leupold about a Oregon BHS hunt. Amazing film but I was left with one question that did not get addressed and wondered if anyone knew what happened.
The first shot on the ram, he says it felt good he knew he had hit it in a good spot, plus everyone said it was a hit at the time. They then wait a good amount of time then close the distance and shoot a sheep within 80 yards. I assume was the same ram but they never explain what happened to that first shot. Was it wounded when they relocated him? Where did he hit him that first time? or was that first shot a miss? I'm curious.
