Any clue on why the Hornady LEVERevolution 325 grain FTX flies flatter than the 250 grain monoflex? Bullet shape, powder differences?

Bullet shape. The FTX is bit more "streamlined" (i.e. higher ballistic coefficient). They are starting at roughly the same velocity so its going to have a flatter trajectory (and lose less velocity at a given range).

Interesting. I like the stats around the 325, but I like the GMX bullet in the 250. That's a tough choice.

Sheer momentum plays a part too.
I shoot 405 hard cast at 1650. With a 200yd zero I come in at 25inch drop at 300yd with 1300ft-lb.
