So I'm constantly bombarded by ads for the latest and greatest gizmos in the hunting gear world.
but lately my mindset has been towards enhancing my skillset so I can use the gear I have now more efficiently.
Things like:
Practicing shooting one rifle more so I don't have to have 3 different rifles and scopes.
Spending time in the outdoors during the off season to attune my eye to spotting deer.
Creating my own Freezer bag meals instead of buying freezedried meals
Shooting the BHFS class with my Hunting bow instead of having a target rig
improving my woodcraft (like starting a fire in the rain)
Act as a Spotter for buddies on their limited entry tags
I'm curious where other hunters in this community have found improving their skills reduced their needs for better gear and gizmos?
