Hog w/Dan Wesson 1911 10mm

Killed this small sow Saturday evening from about 50 yards. Gun was a Dan Wesson long-slide 10mm. Bullet was an Underwood 200 grain XTP. Complete pass through and instant dirt nap. High shoulder shot works every time!

What is the makeup of your load? I carried my S&W 1006 on duty for many years. Plus I picked up a Glock 29 for concealed carry. Love the S&W still got to warm up to the Glock. The grip angles are very different.

I haven’t started loading for it yet. So for now I’m using the 200 grain Underwood offering, which is based around the Hornady XTP.

I have. The box claims 1250. This 6” DW spits them out at 1340.
