i have seen these hog calls in catalogs and wanted to know if anyone has any experience using these. Are they effective at calling in hogs or just to cover your noise while stalking?

I had a friend use one and he was surrounded by hogs. I've not been that successfull with a call other than snoring at night. It seems my snoring calls them in pretty well, then I wake up hearing them and shoot them. Here its 24/7/365 on hogs, i.e. anytime, with landowner permission.

I had a three hog calls put on my FX3 - hogs sparring, piglet distress and big boars fighting. I have not had a chance to try them out yet, but "supposedly" they work well.

I called in a boar in CA using a bunny rabbit call. He came charging right in for a free meal.
