Got a hammock from a sister. About to start a BBQ fire and it started to rain, pan fried instead. Winds came up and it cooled off.

I had to turn heat back on in the house. Low of 37 last night with a high of 68 today. Finally see some 70’s coming up though

Its worst with a wet spring then hot summer. Grass gets tall, then dry then fire fuel. Hopefully nothing like last year

I’ve two pastures I haven’t grazed yet, the grass is 4 1/2 to five foot. Tall. Seeing a lot of tall grass already up in the Blues around here and it wasn’t but an average spring around here for rain. Like you said a good year for grass is a real fire hazard.

My grass is so high my 4 wheeler is covered in grass seed from my sprinkler changes. I was late getting cows due to fixing elk damage fence.

Been mild with rain here the past week with more of the same forecasted for the coming week…pretty nice and our lakes are full. Unusual….thankful.

Lakes and ponds are quite the opposite. We are DRY.

85 degrees on the plains of southern georgie. I guess this aftican dust storm has weakened the suns rays or something because this is the coolest it's been in weeks

Still wet and cold here. Can’t get the garden planted. Famers having a tough time trying to plant corn and soybeans… less than 25% done. Did manage to get 2 food plots in.
