I'm probably going to be spending a week in Moab in the middle of January, and was curious on input of whether or not it'd be worth taking a days drive over to glass for deer on the Henry's. We're going to be in a car if that makes a difference, not sure what kind of snow we would get in to down there.

Would anyone care if I wore a Tines Up hat and snow camo and threw rocks at the bucks hoping to make sheds?

On a side note, does 89 stay open south of Jackson, WY all year?

Definitely worth it. Are you going to look for sheds? If you are, complete the online course so that you are legal. Big, big, big bucks there though.

If there is a lot of snow the fish and game will require vehicles to stay on designated roads like they did in 2010. Check with field office in Hanksville first. Shed hunter's course is required.

Wouldn't I have to throw the rocks REALLY hard that early to worry about sheds?

Dude, you really do need a new hat.

I think I'm going to rock this one on my next Eastern MT excursion, gotta represent the West side.

Your still a ways away even from Moab and you won't get very far in a car. Rent a jeep in moab and you should be good.

No one in Utah would judge you for that, practically encouraged, a rite of passage if you will.

Yea just make sure it's a flat bill hat and add a gotee or a soul patch at the least. Oh and Vortex optics and badlands pack......Oh and a giant sticker in the rear window that says Gladiators or "Nice and Trashy" something like that.;)
