Help me over-think this.

Unable to determine due to velocity
My 7mm Mashburn has been shelved for a bit, but finally got back to it. Seems like there's no wrong choice here. This is an 8 shot ladder with H1000 and 155 Hammer Hunters. The top left was my third shot and seating was a bit over worked as the bullet got stuck in the seater, not sure about the bottom right. There were no signs of pressure anywhere (previous load with pressure was 74gr and a 168LRX)

My thought was to call it at 74/74.5 and just run with it. Anything you would pull out of the chart that would be a nugget to consider.

Looks to me like you plateau at the 74 range (velocity drop after).

Run 3 with 74 and see what it does.
I think you are very close to pressure there.

Small sample size… most of my reading on nodes (velocity or otherwise) has been pretty well dispelled their existence or effect on accuracy - the larger the sample size, the more everything just kinda comes into one group.

Go up more, find pressure, drop a grain and load up 20. Shoot them for a group. If the accuracy is largely acceptable to you, you’ve found your load. If not, drop another .5 grain and load another 20. If that group is still crap, try a different powder.

Yeah, nothing in that data I’d read into too much. Find a speed you can live with a fair margin under pressure, load 10 and see if it’s acceptable.

This is all I do anymore. Painless
