There's a bit of a revolution going on over at the NAHC website! They up and changed the forums to include a sidebar with adds in it, also some long time regulars got banned for raising questions/complaints about the changes. I may be next.

Anyway, I see it's been a year and four months since my last visit. looks good BTW, you might see a few more refugees come over for a holler!

Zat you Ron? Been real fine, especially since my boy Matt got back from Afghanistan on 03-01-06! He's here on leave for 3 weeks, goes back to Bragg the middle of the week. The another 3 months, he's out for good. It's been good to see him, he escaped without a scratch!

Some close calls, like an anti tank mine taking the front end off his hummer, the up-armour saved everybody! He was the ma-duce gunner up in the turret when it went off!

That mess over at the NAHC still goes on! The webbmaster made a lame attempt to placate us rabble rousers/malcontents, by explaning that it was some members that complained the BBS opened in a seperate window, so he/she/it said they did it so that is was within the main page. That meant shrinking the size of the thread window and dragging the mainpage adds along with it. Several anti-hunting adds got through the "filter" that they thought was installed. They are generated by google, which are known to be anti gun/hunting!

Several threads were deleted simply because I and a few others asked if anybody really LIKED the new look! Several members had their posting priviedges revoked. The webby said they would tolerate NO disent or criticyism of their policies.

Well here's webs answer, see if YOU could live under these conditions;

BB Format-

As stated earlier, we integrated the BB into our site format. Prior to the change it opened in a new window. We heard from a lot of you that you did not like the site opening in a new window so we made the BB part of this site and included our standard site navigate on the left side. The bb is served at the same width as the rest of the site.

We are working on a site redesign right now for the BB and the rest of the site that will make it wider. Please be patient.

Ads:
We are in business to make a profit, ads help us do that. Advertising also helps us fund other initiatives that will make this site better.

Deleting threads:
We do not tolerate any posts that disparage the club or are negative in any way shape or form. They will be deleted as soon as I see them. If you want to start a rant about the width of the BB, it will be deleted.

For further clarification please read the terms of use that you agreed when you registered for this board.

Suspended members:
Several members posting rights were temporarily suspended as they were continually placing disparaging posts and several posts crossed the line into threats. We will be contacting these members individually to discuss reinstating their posting ability.

I hope this helps clear things up. We do listen to your concerns and the board with be changing to reflect those concerns soon. YA, SURE YOU ARE, HILE HITLER!

Made a hell of a mess didn't it?

Here's Matt holding up what was left of the front wheel. It was blown 100 meters away from the humvee.

He was stationed at the Kandahar airport, he's in the 82nd airborne. Their mission was mostly convoy escort and back-up for the ANA,(Afghan National Army).
