I gave it a shot in early September and tried to find a cow before the migration with no luck (imagine that) so I'm going to head due west once again in early December. (Should have listened to the biologist the first time and waited)
I've got a week of leave I have to burn before end of the year and can't think of a better way to use it. Hopefully this time I at least see some elk haha. It's not got a ton of access but is hopefully enough to find something that's not hiding out on the private down down next to the river.
