Head light

I have a Lampers Special (Peax) red/white I got on sale. The red light on it is much brighter than that on my Black Diamond Storm. I will probably get a Sofrin or two since they seem very comparable to, and much cheaper than, the Peax.
I just got two of the Sofirns with red light capacity. As it turns out most red lights aren’t any brighter than 5 lumens and that’s in the rare case they list that rating.

The Peax Duo is eerily similar to the Sofirns, but doesn’t list the brightness of the red lights.

See here for the other thread on good Red lights:

I like to walk in with green and switch to red when I start going up my tree. I keep a glock with hardcast and a weapons light and a seperate fenix flashlight for any unexpected threats I may need more than a few green lumens for

Got a reply from Peax:

"The colored LED for red and green puts out 400 lumens of light on the brightest setting. Let me know if you have any other questions."
