Not sure if some of you know - but the DOI recently reversed grazing leases for American Prairie Reserve for bison on BLM land. Let me start by saying - in my ideal world - bison would be provided opportunities to graze on public land. To me what's of significance - the reversal was based on the intent of these animals not being raised for "production" - with the logic that if animals are grazing on public land they need to be for raised for consumption. I can understand and appreciate the rationale, even though I don't like it.
That being the case - why and how are there horses eating on BLM land that's leased? When's the last time you ordered a horse quarter pounder?
