Has anyone stayed in Dublin?

We'll be spending a night in Dublin this summer during our trip to England to hunt with devon deer. Long shot, but has anyone been there that could recommend a hotel to stay in? We'll more than likely stay a night somewhere else in Ireland before going to Dublin, and we'll be headed out early the next morning to catch the ferry back to Wales. Not really wanting a place above a bar due to the noise, and would like something downtown to walk around for a while. If I get any hits, how about food?

We stay almost exclusively in B&B's and then eat most of our meals in pubs. I think Dublin is the only place I stayed in a hotel but can't think of the name right now. The good news is even if you don't stay downtown the public transportation was very good and taking a bus downtown is no problem from most areas. Have a great trip!

Got a nice B&B booked in Killinick for our first night. Close to the ferry port, so we can get checked in and find some dinner. Travel around the next day, and I have a place booked downtown Dublin for our 2nd night. The place we're staying is the home of Celtic Nights so I'm getting tickets to their dinner show. Looks like a late night, and we have to get on the ferry pretty early the next morning. Hope it's quiet in our room so we can sleep!

I'm leaving for Romania for a Roe hunt myself in less than two weeks.
