I carried a 357 Security Six in it for years but after an actual bear encounter I bought the .44 and it fits the holster. It is developing a patina. lol. It is a Hunter that I cut down from 6 inch.

44hunter45 handle was born of my days chasing whitetails with wheelguns. Already posted the 45 Colt. Here is the Redhawk in 44 Rem Mag.

Rossi 68S in 38SPL was a handful until I put the Pachmayrs on it.

I have taken a few critters with a 3” M629. Unfortunately, I am sure that revolver contributed significantly to the current state of my hearing.
