Warmed up to 30 @6am between cold front bands ,with 6-8" of snow so far. Right on the edge of the real cold. Blizzard warnings til tonight. It'll be zero or below tomorrow morn with lots more snow,hopefully.
We need it. Been 10 years since the last heavy snowfall in my area.
Glad I'm not farther east or in WI.....was -24 in the afternoon at my buddy's place yesterday.
The old Sierra cabin I sold to buy this place has 20ft of snow this year so far & 50ft less elevation.....

It's 12* w/17 mph NM wind generating a -6* real feel. The almost new and last week serviced heat pump has been screen coding some kind of hieroglyiphic fault message since last night but it seems to be working ok. Both natty gas fireplaces are going. Maybe an inch of snow with 4-8" forecasted, We'll fire up the truck and 4wd slip slide deliver cards and candy to the grands today.
