My daughter is in 1st grade and came home Friday very excited. She began telling me about a good man who in her words "worked with God and Jesus to help everyone love each other". From the mouth of babes comes the truth.

From "I've been to the Mountain top" speech. His last. Seems applicable in so many ways and places than just directly to what he was addressing at the time.
And another reason that I'm happy to live in this period is that we have been forced to a point where we're going to have to grapple with the problems that men have been trying to grapple with through history, but the demand didn't force them to do it. Survival demands that we grapple with them. Men, for years now, have been talking about war and peace. But now, no longer can they just talk about it. It is no longer a choice between violence and nonviolence in this world; it's nonviolence or nonexistence.

MLK was assassinated the year I was born.Listened to that speech when I was a kid. Powerful message.

History error once I thought about it..JFK in '63. MlK in '68.
