Happy 308 Day!

3/08 is a good date for those of us who don’t prescribe to the thought that the .308 Win is so outdated that it will drop like a rock and bounce off of animals. A great cartridge in its own right, and the parent to many other great cartridges (of course, there is no date that fits the granddaddy of those cartridges, the legendary 30-06). Also a distant uncle to the 6.5MB (I know, it was based off the 30 TC, but that cartridge was just a jealous younger sibling to the 308 ).

So, those of us who are into function over fashion, raise a cheer for this fine round on this fine day!
