Half mount bear

I have my bear at the taxidermist currently and have decided on a half mount. Anyone have any unique poses or poses they like on a half mount? I'm not real sure on what I want. Thanks.

In all seriousness I think the growling paws up often doesn’t come out well.

Me, I'd have the taxi add some habitat and do something like this…

Check out taxidermist Jessie Dahlberg on Facebook. He posts all his mounts and he does a lot of bears. Should get some good ideas there.

I picked that pose because my bear wasn't a big one and it showed off the blaze the best. To me.

I get it, to each their own. For me, bears only make that pose in our imagination. Or when they eat cocaine apparently.

I agree. I'm looking at a closed mouth and paws down most likely.

This mount turned out fantastic and the pics don’t do him justice. The bottom pic is the same bear in my trophy room after I finished it.
