Grouse with a blowgun?

I don't think you could take the air out of a grouse with those. Maybe headshot. I've body shot them with a judo and they disappeared into the forest...certainly dead but unretrievable

Just don’t do what the neighbor kids and I did when we all got blow guns as kids.

Those needle darts hurt.

Easy solution.....put the dart in backwards. The round hard ball ones hurt like hell but you won't have a needle embedded in your femur.

I used a Sheridan pump pellet pistol for years. Now a Ruger Mkii Pistol with Aguila Colibri ammo. Quieter than a Blazing Saddles campfire scene.

@ammo not that it's applicable anymore but as kids, we went through a blow gun stage 20 years ago (tech hasn't changed), while you "can" kill things, mostly you don't. The darts go right threw them, they don't die right away, and fly off. In the three years I "hunted" hard with them, I killed one bird and maybe 6 squirrels, and the squirrels only because i could pin them to tree trunks.
