It reminds me of my first encounter with a grizzly up dry cotton wood as a kid. The game warden told us it was a black bear. He either didn’t want to hear it or was denying the truth. He also thought we were punk kids. We had watched black bears for years. Like this bear, the Griz was like porn, “you know it when you see it.”
