Troy, great pictures. What color jigs were you using? Your usual colors? black and red? yellow?
Inspirational. Plenty windy here today. But still warm.

Coyotes-R-Us, I'd heard the ice blew out down river and that is was a popular destination. The upper part wasn't lonely either. Must have seen over a 100 drift boats, but I didn't see those guys catching much. In fact, I didn't see any fly fisherman land a single fish. They were out in force though.

We where trying to call coyotes not fishing.
Every one we went by had a fish on , I'm guessing bass and sauger.
With all the traffic WE should have been fishing...

Our season really doesn't get going until the Rockfish opener in mid April...

Yes definitely using Kit's jigs. As the spawn ramps up in a few weeks they'll attack brightly colored jigs again.
