Good weekend fishing

Thought I'd share a couple of pictures from the weekend's fishing excursion. Caught 11 Mackinaw from 12 to 35 lbs. Here's a coupld of them.

That looks like it would have been nothing but fun pulling those guys in...

Mackinaw...

Those can be caught in some Northern California lakes, as well as in the Pacific Northwest.

What lake?

A Mackinaw is a COAT....

Them's big fat LAKERS that you're holding there... ;) ....

Congrats on a real fine catch... Interesting how fish are known locally by different names...Out west, they're Mackinaw...Great lakes/ Mid Atlantic, they're lake trout or lakers... Down east in Maine they're called TOGUE...
