A measure of a good business is when you have good word of mouth out there and happy customers generates new customers.

It amazes me some outdoor related companies that don’t really care about customer service and are ok with “good, but” referrals.

I’m not here to bash any specific business. I am just grateful that the business that associate with this forum and @Big Fin consistently put their customers first, care about their products, and put stock in their reputation.

Yep. I've had a few issues that caused me to call CS. Called Hornady after a pawl on my press broke and within 5 minutes had a new one on the way.

However, last year I dealt with a certain 4x4 Company located in Florida. I ordered a $1600 lift for my Jeep and didn't get the whole kit. Initial rep was great and then we got to his manager. Their system dropped one of the parts of the kit from my order and only charged my card $1400 or so. The kit to complete the kit I ordered was $450 and his supervisor kept trying to make me an offer. I told the supervisor it wasn't my fault their system is lacking and I'm going to pay the difference between my invoice and what the card was charged or I was putting them on blast in forums, FB, etc. He got real defensive and I paid the difference. He got real petty and sent it snail mail. I'll never shop with that company again.

I ought to make a post about kenetrek... They're great. Ordered my girlfriend boots that weren't up to snuff and they said send them to us and we'll replace them. We'll 38$ of shipping costs was crazy. So I asked them and they said send a pic of the receipt and within 3 days I had a reimbursement check for the cost of shipping the boots. Companies like that, ones that make the inconvience a non issue and make up for it... Those are the successful ones. I've had several companies now, like ice armor for instance, my gloves were trashed after a year of use. They have a 5 year guarantee so I emailed them and they said cut the fingertips off of both pairs and send a pic. I did and within a few days I had a new pair on my doorstep.
