No I did'nt see any hunters around...it was dumping snow all day!...But that would be funny, we get alot hunters on this 40 next to ours. I'll just have to equip the boys with bullet proof vests!

Labs aren't pointers, well most aren't anyway, so their job is to retrieve birds, doesn't matter if it's been shot or not, so your dog did good

I'm bored so I'll ask....My Labs like to hunt and especially they like to hunt pheasants. Today I woke up and they had a rooster laying on the porch! They were so proud and so was I , so I told them Good Boys , and took the bird. But that got me thinkin should I reward them for bringing me a bird that I did'nt shoot? Maybe I should of told them they were bad? I will say one thing, if they keep doin it I'll save myself some shells! I cant hit chit!!! What do you think?

I'd say...that the dogs were paoching in a sense, but then again the bird could have died from the cold or something like that. Either way your dogs found a bird and now you have a bird.
