Hey everyone, due to someone deciding my bino harness and all attached gear (bino's, rangefinder, InReach) looked like a great free gift for them from my truck....I am in the process of trying to replace everything. I am pretty sold on the Maven products, so looking to replace with B.5 binos, and replacing the Rf.1 I just bought - so good on the glass end!

That being said, here is my question - what harness is everyone running for the larger gear? I like the look of the Marsupial, but with the rangefinder pouch, is it worth just going with the Kuiu chest pack (costs are close to the same, Kuiu may even be cheaper)?

I wasn't a fan of the Kuiu Chest Rig and my binos don't fit my SG Skyguide very well.
Been happy with the Sig rig I've got.

But I'm really looking at Marsupial or Alaska Guide Creations for when I actually upgrade.

I’ve been using the SG Sentinel bino harness and range finder pouch for a few years now and really like it. Fits well.

Been using the Kuiu setup for a few years now with the BX-4s and it works for me. I like the setup with rangefinder pouch.
To be fair, I have not tried the Marsupial or Alaskan Guide Creations.

First off, I have to do some victim shaming, don't leave sh!t in your truck....but to answer the question, love my Marsupial...

People are ignorant. I've had both an Alaska Guide Creations Denali harness and the Magnetic Marsupial one.

AGC: Very comfortable but it is quite large. I never used any extra pouches due to having the large zipper compartment in the front where I put my range finder and it also has an elastic cord that can be used like a tether. Zippered pouches on the sides and the top has places that are elastic for a windchecker, mouth calls, knives etc.

Marsupial: More streamlined and it works great due to not being as bulky as the AGC one, especially if you're trying to lie down prone. Just enough room for the binos and things like a windchecker, extra matches, ear pro etc. I have the rangefinder pouch attached to the strap and it works great. The only thing I'm going to add is a pouch for bear spray. I like it much better than the AGC harness. Just my preference.

Get the marsupial Bino harness. I don't love their rangefinder, I wish it had more structure to it. You can add almost any other rangefinder pouch to their harness. They have some good deals in their bargain bins.

My previous case was an AGC, and I loved it except for the bulk with their pocket layout!

Well it was meant to go with me in the side by side when it got stolen, but in the hurry of getting kids loaded into machines, and other gear packed, left it in my truck cab. I even kicked myself that day because while on the ride we ran into a big group of elk, with no binos to check them out with!

I've had the FHF harness for 3 years and love it. It is very customizable. Im able to run my binos/rangefinder/spare mag/handgun/inreach all in one place and it's by far been the most comfortable.

I have a T&K that I use if I’m carrying my 10x42’s. It’s considerably bulkier than the marsupial I had but it is built like a tank. The majority of the time whitetail hunting at home I’m carrying maven 8x30’s with a rick young harness (my favorite way to go).
