I just got my first civie cell phone/smart phone and am wondering what apps I might find helpful. I am not a big techie but want to take advantage of having the damned thing:D

I have an S5. I've been using BackCountry Navigator as my GPS and it's awesome. Shooter is my ballistic app. Can't think of anything else.

Ill 2nd that.
Get a mapping/ GPS tracking program
GAIA, Backcountry navigator, Backpacker GPS trails. Among others (I use GAIA)

I you do long range shooting a shooting app. It is even helpful if you only shoot 300 yds to compensate for wind and angle.
Bullet flight, Strelok, Shooter are a few.

I like using the camera flash as a flashlight.
I also have an app called score my rack.

Have fun and good luck this season.

I've been using the onXmaps app...not free but handy. I just downloaded an app called PDF maps but haven't messed with it enough to know what I'm doing.

I'll echo Strelok and Shooter.

The app I use the most in the field is Freecell, followed by Spider Solitaire and Angry Birds ;-)

I've used Backcountry Navigator and Strelok and both are good. I paid for Strelok+ and feel like it was worth the $.

Ditto on GAIA, its my got to app.
