Reaching out to my GA and SC hunt talk friends. As you know, hogs are a year around problem here. On our place we run traps all year but every now and then will run dogs through the property just to get em out for a short period. It’s a lot fun. A few years ago a young fella that used to work on our farm got into dog hunting. I went with him recently on a large tract not too far from here and was really impressed. I’ve been hunting with dogs for over 20 years and told him he has some of the best dogs I’ve ever hunted with. We caught 3 large sows that morning.

Anyway, getting to the point of my thread. If any of you have issues with hogs and would like to chase them with hogs, just shoot me a pm. We can set something up. I’m really just trying to help him out. Preferably larger tracts, just to avoid confrontations with neighbors that don’t approve.

I remember when Hurricane Floyd turned a lot of domestics hogs into feral hogs in the NC low country. I used to have some pictures of the ones my in-laws would kill on their farms in Wilson County, but can’t seem to find them now. One pic had about 20 of them lined up. They breed like rabbits. Go get ‘em!
