The fact that you had to explain this is incredible…wow.
I dont mind - plenty of folks here have provided me with a decent explanation when ive been factually incorrect myself.

I saw the comment in multiple places - so i figured it was something @HuntingJosh was fired up about.

@HuntingJosh - did you see that theres still an opprunity to hunt R 3 antelope with a bow? To be honest i think the new region 3 version of the 900 (has 500 permits?) will be still much easier to draw than a rifle permit in the same area - but no ones knows what will happen til application time.
 
80% of the total antelope harvest occuring with a bow - not 80% of archery hunters harvesting.
Oh nice. That makes way more sense. Especially since some of the units only offer 5-25 rifle tags.

Yeah, I was bummed that the archery opportunity in region three appeared to be decreasing. But I hope you are right that it will still be able to be drawn relatively easy. I have embraced doing my part to hold the archery antelope harvest rates down to sustainable levels. 😂
