Saturday was opening day of rifle season. This little guy appeared and Alexis wanted it...so kaboom!

Starting Monday I have 2 extra doe permits for rifle season, I am going to try and take them with a pistol hump which will be a first.

I am also taking the pistol this morning to try my luck.

So when do I pick up some venison? It seems we are sorta low in that aspect so far this year.
