Forest service private?

I am looking at hunting the border of a cwmu here in Northern Utah. I am looking at the forest Service ground on my GPS chip. The parcel is colored green symbolizing it is public land. However, when I click on the menu it says it is private even though it is colored green for forest service. What is going on here? Have any of you seen this?

Not sure what chip you are referencing though is it possible there is private land within the grid that may need to be reviewed further or in more detail?

Not sure if UT has such though in MT we have our tax based cadastral that is public and an easy way to identify every private owned parcel... try checking with something along those lines or check with the FS and provide them the info... see what they say.

Griz it could be trade land for the cwmu. Have you looked up that?
