Flea and tick meds for dogs?

We usually use front line but the wife wants to get away from that oily mess. She found some treats they can eat but needs 4 a day for each dog. Is there any other chewable meds that are maybe once a day or less that work well?

Nexgard is one treat a month and appears to be more effective than topicals we have used.

We went w Nexgard as it was recommended by our vet. Interested to see what others have to say as we're only a couple months into dog ownership.

I've had good luck with Advantix II, 1x/month. Have not noticed any oily residue. I think corgis must have been bred to maximize attractiveness to ticks. I was late putting it on this spring and pulled several each day. After applying, nothing.

I’ve had good tick luck with Bravecto.maybe doesn’t keep them off but kills them dead

I stopped using nexguard when there was issues with dog seizures. Ultimately switched to Advantix II, never any issues.

Nexguard here as well. Never had any flea or tick issues when using it.
