Makes you pucker sometimes for sure. I once had to chain a guy's truck with a set of mine. If he wasn't in my way I would have driven around and left him. People need to assess their ability to drive in conditions. And their equipment. mtmuley

or when I stopped my truck, and after a second or two started to slide. Realized at that moment I shouldn't have been lazy about putting on chains. Was just a packed snow forest road in November, without even being super icy. Luckily learned my lesson without going over the edge.

Sometimes I chain on ice to go downhill. Icy roads in the cold early morning temps going up aren't bad unless extremely steep. Chained once in the mud. Missouri Breaks. mtmuley
