First time mule deer hunter

Trying to play my first mule deer hunt in Wyomingas a nonresident my plan right now is to apply for general unit R I have one preference point and will have 2 when I apply for my hunt other than the Wyoming hunt planner are there any other good information sources for me to look at when researchering units

If you apply in the special draw you’ll likely be able to pull R as a second choice. I’d put in for more of a long shot 1st choice with R as a second choice. Save the points for your second hunt

I don't think I'll be able to swing the speical draw but do you get 3 choices with either tag options

You get three options in both draws.

I second the Gohunt suggestion, it's a good resource. Since you stated you will have a second point before you apply, are you planning for 2021?

Thats the plan hopefully can make it happen still have a few items I need to add to my pack to be totally ready to go out west but I hope to get there
